Devil’s Bridge is located between Yagodina Cave and Borino in the region “Haidushki Dol” on the future trekking trail “Devil’s Trail.” The Haidushki Dol area is an extremely pristine canyon with old growth forests lining its rim. Devil’s Bridge is a rock bridge 10 meters long, 3 meters thick, hanging 30 meters above the Borino River, and surrounded by untouched nature. A local myth that only the devil can cross under the bridge gives it its name which comes from Turkish “sheitan kupru.” According to the local legend, the rock bridge is the moment of reconciliation between two brothers, who were at enmity with each other for many years about their father’s estate. At the moment of their reconciliation, they shook hands and turned to stone, connecting the two sides of the canyon.
